The Belt sanitation unit flex (BSU Flex) is a semi-automatic system that is designed for cleaning closed conveyor belts which are wide in size. It cleans the belt, a section at a time and then is manually placed to the next section to clean the belt completely. It is an apt choice when there is long downtime during the production process.
The working of our belt cleaning system
Our belt cleaning systems consist of all the necessary components that are tailored for cleaning the conveyor belt at hand. The belt cleaner is chosen based on the type and width of the belt, as wider belts will require more steam output or a powerful vacuum cleaner. Regardless of the model and its applications, the basic structure of our belt cleaners contain three major components : belt cleaner, dry steam cleaner and vacuum cleaner.
Power requirement
The steam power required often depends on the width of the conveyor belt for effective cleaning. Although the optimal range of power needed depends on other factors such as the condition of the belt, we would recommend the following model :
Up to 400 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model ms 10 is an ideal choice for very narrow belts.
Up to 600 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model iS 18 is best suited for smaller belts up to 600 mm.
Up to 800 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model iS 36 is suited for belts whose width comes between the range of 600 to 800 mm.
From 800 mm
We recommend our power pact models iS 54 and iS 72 CIP, for belts with width 800 mm and above.
