Belt sanitation unit (BSU) is an automatic device that is used to clean closed conveyor belts. It generates hot steam which effectively removes dirt and disinfects the belt, thereby eliminating harmful viruses, bacteria and other allergens. This system enables the cleaning of the belt even while it is in operation and gets dry almost instantly. It is time effective as there will be no need for cleaning shifts. Since it is fully automatic, the staff can work on other tasks which demand their complete attention.
Our belt cleaning systems are designed to meet the cleaning requirements of the belts. The BSU will feature the optimal pressure and temperature according to the different belts at hand, its width and type and ensures its effective cleaning.
It is also to be noted that regardless of the model of the belt or other application of this machine, the core components of the belt cleaner will include three major parts : dry steam cleaner, belt cleaner and vacuum cleaner.
The power required to clean the belt depends on its width, because the wider the belt is, the more steam power is needed to clean it. The right amount of power depends on various other factors which includes the condition of the belt.
But generally we recommend the following:
Up to 400 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model ms 10 is an ideal choice for very narrow belts.
Up to 600 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model iS 18 is best suited for smaller belts up to 600 mm.
Up to 800 mm
Our dry steam cleaner model iS 36 is suited for belts whose width comes between the range of 600 to 800 mm.
From 800 mm
We recommend our power pact models iS 54 and iS 72 CIP, for belts with width 800 mm and above.
